replacing the cooler on your graphic card

just picked up a 9800pro card on ebay for a very nice price,only thing wrong with it is that the fan was siezed and needed replacing. the stock ones are abit noisey any way and there are kits out there to replace the heatsink and fan

received the kit on friday, 1st impression was "o my god" thats to big it will never fit.

so today i removed the old heatsink,cleaned the chip,followed the instructions (which were excellent ) and fitted the new heatsink and fan assembly and all the heatsinks supplied for all the cards other chips. it fitted perfect,very easy, even came with a splitter power cable to run high or low speed. on saying that your psu must have enough power leads as the card needs one plus the new heatsink and fan needs another
